Ta’Neesha Murphy is from Washington D.C. the home of Go-go music and mumbo sauce. She started acting at age 11, and after attending Duke Ellington Schools of the Arts she went to SUNY Purchase to further hone her love for acting, while also expanding her love for movement. She found a love for learning Korean while living on campus which helped develop her excitement for trying new things and taking risks to become better.

She strives to make art that is both cathartic and exciting for her audience.
